EWP Training & Licensing Providers Australia: Find a Course Near You

By EWP Australia·

A state-by-state directory of EWP training providers across Australia offering boom lift licences (TLILIC0005), scissor lift tickets (RIIHAN301E), EWPA Yellow Card courses, working-at-heights training and combined EWP programs.

Finding the right EWP training or licensing course near you depends on which credential you need — a WP High Risk Work Licence for boom-type EWPs over 11 metres (TLILIC0005), an EWP ticket for scissor lifts and smaller EWPs (RIIHAN301E), the EWPA Yellow Card, a working-at-heights certificate (RIIWHS204E) or a combined program. The providers listed below have been identified as delivering one or more of these programs across their respective states. This is an informational directory — EWP Australia does not deliver training and is not affiliated with any of these providers. Always confirm current course availability, pricing and equipment coverage directly with the provider.

How to choose the right EWP training course

  • Identify which credential you need — WP HRWL (TLILIC0005) for boom EWPs 11m or more; RIIHAN301E/Yellow Card for scissor lifts and smaller EWPs; RIIWHS204E if working-at-heights training is also required.
  • Check the machines covered — confirm the provider delivers practical assessment on the equipment type you will actually operate (scissor lift, boom lift, cherry picker truck, vertical lift).
  • Consider a combined program — if you need both an EWP ticket and a working-at-heights certificate, many providers offer combined programs that satisfy both in a single enrolment.
  • Check location and scheduling — courses run on fixed dates at training centres, or some providers offer on-site delivery for groups. Confirm the next available date before contacting.
  • Ask about VOC services — if you already hold a licence or ticket and need a Verification of Competency for a new site or employer, not every provider offers standalone VOC assessment. Confirm before booking.
  • After completing training, keep your statement of attainment and any card issued — you will be asked to produce it on site, at hire company counters and in employer induction processes.
