Is a vertical mast lift the same as a scissor lift?
Both provide vertical access, but a vertical mast lift is usually narrower, lighter and designed for one person. A scissor lift generally has a broader platform and can suit larger loads or crews.

Vertical mast lifts are compact, single-person mobile elevating work platforms that travel and lift straight up on a telescoping mast. Often called personnel lifts, man lifts, one-person lifts, stock pickers or order pickers, they provide low-to-medium height access where a scissor lift is too large and a boom lift is unnecessary.
