Annual EWP Inspections

Documented annual inspections that keep your EWP fleet compliant and audit-ready.

Service Overview

An annual inspection is the yearly, in-depth check required to keep elevated work platforms safely in service between major milestones. We assess structural, mechanical, hydraulic and safety systems against the AS 2550 series, record the results in a clear digital report and flag any defects with practical repair recommendations — so your plant passes site audits and stays working.

Why Choose EWP Australia

  • A documented yearly inspection that satisfies AS 2550 and keeps every machine site-legal.
  • Defects caught early, before they become breakdowns or failed audits.
  • One provider for the whole fleet — booms, scissors, truck-mounted EWPs and trailer lifts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about annual ewp inspections.

Is an annual inspection different from routine servicing?

Yes. Routine servicing keeps the machine running; the annual inspection is a formal, documented compliance check of structural and safety-critical systems required to keep the machine legally in service.

What happens if a defect is found during the annual inspection?

Each defect is rated by severity in the report. Minor items can usually be fixed on the spot; anything safety-critical is quarantined until repaired, and we quote the remedial work straight away.

Can you inspect a mixed fleet from different manufacturers?

Yes — annual inspections are independent and cover all makes and models of boom lifts, scissor lifts, truck-mounted EWPs and trailer-mounted platforms.

Do you provide records for audits?

Every annual inspection is documented with photographs and defect ratings, giving you a compliance trail you can hand straight to an auditor or principal contractor.
