In Australia, a cherry picker usually means a truck-mounted EWP with an articulating or telescopic boom and a work basket. Also called a bucket truck, boom truck or aerial lift truck, it drives to site, deploys outriggers and positions workers at height for electrical, arborist, telecommunications, signage and building-maintenance work.
