Cherry Picker Trucks / Truck-Mounted EWPs for Sale

A cherry picker truck puts elevated access on a road-registered vehicle, so a crew can drive to the work, lift, and move on. For businesses whose height work follows a road or spreads across a region, owning a truck-mounted EWP removes the constant hire and transport cycle.

EWP Australia sells cherry picker trucks and truck-mounted EWPs matched to your reach, vehicle class and licensing. As specialists who inspect and repair these units, we bring the same scrutiny to the machines we sell — inspected, certified where used, and documented.

How It Works

The Process

01

Match reach & vehicle

We confirm working height, outreach and the truck class that fits your drivers' licences and typical work.

02

Inspect & certify

Before sale, used cherry picker trucks are inspected and certified to the relevant standards, and the records come with the unit.

03

Finance & aftercare

We can arrange finance and keep the unit serviced and inspected through our workshop after purchase.

Compliance & Standards

Truck-mounted EWPs are sold against AS/NZS 1418.10 for design and AS 2550.10 for safe use and periodic inspection. Drivers require the appropriate vehicle licence for the truck class alongside EWP operator competency, and we can advise on the 10-year major inspection required under AS 2550.10 for older units.

Why EWP Australia

  • Road-registered access that moves with your crew
  • Articulating, telescopic and insulated options
  • Used machines inspected and certified before sale

FAQs

Common Questions

What licence do I need to drive a cherry picker truck?

You need the vehicle licence class for the truck itself, plus operator competency for the EWP. Where the boom length is 11 metres or more, a high risk work licence for boom-type EWPs also applies. Tell us the unit and we'll outline the requirements.

Do you sell insulated truck-mounted EWPs?

Yes. For work near live conductors we can supply insulated truck-mounted units. Insulated machines carry additional periodic electrical testing obligations, which we'll confirm are documented at sale.

Are used cherry picker trucks inspected before sale?

They are. Used truck-mounted EWPs are inspected against the relevant standards and certified before sale, with inspection and service records supplied at handover.

Can you service the truck-mounted EWP after purchase?

Yes. We inspect, service and repair truck-mounted EWPs through our workshop and on site, so you can maintain the machine and its compliance records through one provider.
