Used EWPs for Sale
A used EWP is a smart way to add capacity without the cost of new, provided the machine's condition and compliance history stack up. EWP Australia sells used elevated work platforms that are inspected and certified before sale, so you buy with a clear picture of what you're getting.
As a specialist in EWP inspections, repairs and major inspections, we assess the equipment we sell against the same standards we hold service work to. That means used machines come to market having been checked, rectified where needed, and documented — not simply cleaned up and listed.

The Process
Inspection & rectification
Before sale, machines are inspected against the relevant standards and any defects are rectified so the unit is certified and compliant.
Pre-purchase inspection option
Buyers can request a documented pre-purchase inspection so you know the machine's condition before you commit.
Finance & handover
We can arrange equipment finance, then hand over the unit with its inspection and service records.
Compliance & Standards
Used EWPs are inspected and certified against AS/NZS 1418.10 for design and AS 2550.10 for safe use and periodic inspection before sale. Where a machine is near or past ten years of age, we can advise on the 10-year major inspection required under AS 2550.10 so you understand the maintenance position before you buy.
Why EWP Australia
- Machines inspected and certified before sale, not just listed
- Optional pre-purchase inspection for full transparency
- Equipment finance can be arranged
- Assessed by a specialist in EWP inspection and repair
Common Questions
Are your used EWPs inspected before sale?
Yes. Every used EWP is inspected against the relevant standards and rectified where needed so it is certified and compliant before it changes hands. You receive the inspection and service records at handover.
Can I get an independent pre-purchase inspection?
You can. We offer documented pre-purchase inspections that assess structural, hydraulic and safety systems, so you understand the machine's condition and any upcoming maintenance before you commit to the purchase.
Is finance available on used equipment?
Yes, we can arrange equipment finance on used machines. Speak to us about your requirements and we'll help you structure the purchase to suit your business.
What about the 10-year major inspection on older units?
Once an EWP reaches ten years, AS 2550.10 requires a major inspection. If a used machine is near or past that age, we'll advise you on its major inspection status so you can factor it into your decision.
