How it works

You answer a short set of questions about the site, the machine and how a rescue would actually run, and the tool assembles them into a structured plan you can edit. Anything you leave blank is written into the document as an obvious placeholder rather than filled with a guess, so it is clear at a glance what still needs finishing before the plan is usable. The plan is regenerated live as you type; nothing is stored on our servers.

The emergency descent section is the heart of it. Every machine family lowers differently — a truck-mounted unit, a knuckle boom and a scissor lift all have their own auxiliary or emergency descent controls in different places. That is why the tool asks you to transcribe the method and control location from your own machine's operator manual instead of offering a generic set of steps. Copy the wording exactly, then rehearse it on the machine.

Questions

Is this a finished rescue plan? No. It is a starting framework only. A rescue plan is not complete until a competent person has reviewed it, it matches the machine's actual emergency descent system, and the crew has physically rehearsed the rescue on that machine. Treat every placeholder as work to do.

Why doesn't it list the lowering steps for me? Because inventing them would be dangerous. The correct emergency lowering sequence and control location come only from the specific machine's operator manual. The tool records what you enter and leaves the detail for you to transcribe accurately.
