When the load-bearing structure of an elevated work platform is damaged, cracked or fatigued, nothing else about the machine matters until it is put right. We carry out structural repairs across booms, chassis and pedestals — the components that carry the load and hold the operator aloft — and verify the work so the machine can be trusted back in service rather than merely patched.

Structural repair is not the same as filling and painting damage. Cracked welds, fatigued members and impact damage need to be assessed for their cause, repaired by welding suited to the base material and loading, and then checked to confirm the repair itself is sound. Assess the structure

Prepare & weld

The affected area is prepared and repaired using welding suited to the base material and the loads the component carries in service.

Verify with NDT

The repair is checked by non-destructive testing so the integrity of the weld and surrounding structure is confirmed, not assumed.

Recommission

Once the structure is verified, the unit is reassembled and, where required, load tested and documented before it returns to work.
