How it works
Add each machine in turn with its plant ID or name, the date of its last annual inspection and the date of its last major inspection, and pick whether that unit runs on a five-year or ten-year major cycle. For every unit the planner adds twelve months to the last annual date, and adds your chosen cycle to the last major date, then drops each result into a month-by-month view of the year ahead. Anything already past its date is pulled out into a separate overdue list so it doesn't get lost in the calendar.
Why you choose the major cycle. Major inspections fall due at five years OR ten years depending on the equipment class — there is no single figure that fits every machine, so we don't assume one for you. Assumptions and limits. Everything is computed purely from the dates you type in — nothing is pre-filled and no intervals are invented. Dates are added on a calendar basis and clamped to the last day of shorter months.
