EWP Tender Response Checklist
Responding to a council or government elevated work platform tender is mostly a paperwork race: the offer is decided as much by whether your evidence pack is complete and on time as by the machine itself. This free checklist is the supplier-side companion to our Tender Specification Builder — that tool helps buyers write the brief, and this one helps you answer it. Enter the tender name and its closing date, tick the categories the tender actually asks for, and the tool assembles a structured list of the documents to gather with blank evidence and status columns to fill in, plus a live countdown to the closing date worked out from the date you enter.
It is a self-managed working checklist, not a submission, an endorsement or a guarantee that your response meets what any specific tender requires. Every tender sets its own conditions, so you tick only the categories relevant to yours and you decide what evidence satisfies each one. Nothing here states what a particular council or department demands, quotes prices, or invents inspection intervals — major inspections fall due at five years or ten years depending on the equipment class, so the checklist prompts you to disclose the status rather than assuming one. As an independent EWP inspection, service and sales specialist we can help you get the machine paperwork straight; call 0416 689 689 for a hand.

What The Tender Asks For
Tick the categories your tender actually asks for. Each one adds its documents to the checklist with blank evidence and status columns. Leave off anything that doesn't apply.

Assembled with the free EWP Australia Tender Response Checklist —
a self-managed working list only. It is not a submission, legal or
procurement advice, or a guarantee of a compliant response. The
tender's own conditions govern what you must provide.
==============================================How This Works & Assumptions
How it works
Enter the tender name and its closing date, then tick the evidence categories the tender asks for — insurance, inspection and certification records, maintenance history, operator competencies, safety documentation, referees, the pricing schedule and delivery or lead times. As you go, the tool assembles a numbered document pack on the right with a plain evidence column and a status column against every item, plus a countdown worked out from the closing date you entered. Copy it, download it as a text file or print it, then keep it as your working tracker while you pull the submission together.
The countdown is a scheduling aid. It simply counts calendar days between today and the closing date you type in, so it moves as the date approaches and flags once the date has passed. It is not a submission deadline enforced by anyone — the authoritative closing time is the one in the tender documents, including any time of day and time zone, which you should always confirm yourself.
Questions
How does this relate to the Tender Specification Builder? They are two sides of the same process. The Tender Specification Builder is for buyers writing the brief; this checklist is for suppliers answering it. If you're responding to a tender, use this one to organise your evidence pack.
Does ticking a category mean my response is compliant? No. The categories are generic prompts, not a statement of what any specific council or department requires. You read the tender, decide which categories apply and what evidence satisfies each item, and you complete, verify and sign off the checklist yourself. On inspections it never assumes an interval — majors fall due at five years or ten years depending on the equipment class, so it asks you to disclose the status per unit.
Where does my information go? Nowhere. It's held on the page and assembled entirely on your own device, so it is only kept if you download or print it. Leaving or refreshing the page wipes it.
This is a self-managed working checklist, not a submission and not procurement or legal advice. The tender's own conditions govern what you must provide. As an independent EWP inspection, service and sales specialist we can help get the machine paperwork straight — call 0416 689 689.
