Coastal moisture ingress into joints is primarily a seal condition issue — when grease nipple seals and pivot seals show wear, moisture follows the grease path in. We inspect and replace the ingress-point seals as part of a joint repair, not just replace the corroded pin and bush, so the corrosion source is addressed at the same time as the wear.
